Today feels like its my day. I had a great night's sleep, I woke up refreshed, I found job postings in my inbox, and behold, one was for TMC! For once I was glad that my alarm woke me up way before I needed to be awake. I applied for the PRN job and I'm hoping for a good outcome. I understand though if they are looking for more applicants to see if someone is better qualified. :( Even though that would hurt my feelings! I also got a call from John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth today. HR went over my application and license so they can do a background check on me and send my application to the radiology department. This too would be a PRN job. How amazing would it be to finally get a job? Completely amazing.
I signed up to take Social Problems through the college. I figured why not take a class to raise my GPA up. That way I can hopefully get into Brookhaven's CT Program sometime next year and get certified in that modality. Social Problems will also count towards an RN degree if I decide to go that round to be a Radiology Nurse.
I'm still waiting to hear back from one job opportunity that a friend set me up with. What a great feeling.
I found my love for photography my senior year of HS when my yearbook director let me have full charge of the staff 35mm SLR. I have gone through 5 models of cameras! I found my love for Healthcare 3 years later and combined my passions. I'm now a certified Radiology Technologist. Therefore, I literally get to see the ins & outs of the people I encounter. :)
