This weekend was my first week to be on my own at Touchstone. I felt like a new tech all over again. I'm so use to having a lead tech there to tell me what image is good or which ones need to be redone. It was shocking that my ribs series turned out great yet I let an artifact go on an image instead of re-shooting. It didn't obscure the part needing to be looked at but supposedly the radiologist hates artifacts. Whoops. I'll learn. I use to okay my images all the time on my own but I think I'm nervous about it since I've been out of the habit for 6 months. Confidence definitely goes out down the tube with that much time away from your trade!
I also got a new car this week. I didn't get the Mustang I wanted but I did get a Civic coupe. It's pretty nice! It's not as nice as Jacob's with a touchscreen GPS system but it's one of the nicer ones.
Tonight I made Nikki's bridal bouquet for her pictures on Wednesday. I still need to find some brown silk ribbon to wrap around the stems but this is how it turned out:
June had to nibble on it too. :P Such a pest! I also need to cut off the bottom part of the stems. I didn't want to do it with the cutters I had tonight because it was killing my hands!
I cannot wait to post a sneak peak of Nikki's bridals!
